Brethren,

We learned today that additional surgery will be required to repair nerve damage caused by the accident two weeks ago. I have been in constant pain in my hand and wrist even though the wound was in the elbow/forearm area. After several physicians and referrals, a specialist has said a microsurgical procedure would be the only way to repair the nerve. When the original surgery was done, there was so much blood loss that it stopping it became the priority.

I must make a previously planned trip to Singapore tomorrow and return on Friday morn. The surgery is scheduled for Saturday afternoon. If all goes well, I should be released on Monday.

Please pray about the trip to Singapore. I am on some heavy doses of pain killers and sometimes it affects me badly. Pray that I can get done what is needed in the short time there. Pray that the additional surgery fixes the injury to the nerve.

This comes at a bad time financially as we have not yet recovered from the move. God is in control. Thank you for praying however.

By the end of this week, the typesetting for the Judson version of the Burmese Bible should be completed and the file sent to the printers in the USA. Please pray for the brethren who have committed to printing and shipping these Bibles, New Testaments, and Gospels. We are now awaiting a shipping date for a 40,000# container. With the Lord’s provision several other shipments will follow!
