Gaudet Family Update – August 19, 2010

Greetings from Thailand,

Please excuse the long e-mail update but we felt it necessary to bring you up to speed on some happenings and ask prayer.

In our last Update, we mentioned a situation with a man we praying about putting on staff to deal with a couple of languages in a “New area” for us. Much has happened since then. He actually spent today in the office with us. Presently he is limited to part-time but we are praying that this changes soon. Funds seem to be available at this point also. As he works on a large evangelistic literature project for us, we are laying the groundwork for putting a text from the 1860’s back into print. Many obstacles have already been overcome but we are much in need of prayer for wisdom.

We must make a day trip to the border tomorrow. Two of the folks on our team need to renew visas. While there we will meet with brethren concerning distribution of literature.

The 40′ container is scheduled to arrive in the next 2 weeks. Please pray that undue customs fees will be avoided. Also pray that we will have the necessary funds to move these materials into strategic locations where distribution will be possible. We are roughly $4,000 short of the funds needed for that at present.

On Wednesday of next week Jeffry and Sarah Evans are to arrive from the USA. Eight days later, April Wilson is scheduled to arrive. Please pray for them. It’s a big move for each one. Please pray for the Lord to richly bless and use them. Pray for us as we labor together.

We thank the Lord for the privilege to labor for Him. After we watched the Lord work in our midst recently, I mentioned to a co-worker, “I recognize His hand moving. It is just like Him to do that!”
Thank you for your labor with us in prayer. You are making a difference.

For Souls Still Waiting,

Tom and Krinny Gaudet
