I just left the hospital. Tom had surgery last night to repair his arm. It was cut below the elbow on the inside almost to the bone. There was massive bleeding because of the blood thinners he is taking for his heart. They gave him several pints of blood plasma and he was in ICU over night because of the bleeding. The doctor was able to repair the damage and we hope there was no nerve damage, but that will remain to be seen.

As to the accident itself: the doors to our closets are glass. He stumbled into one of the doors last night and it broke and he fell thru it and that is how he was injured. He could have easily been killed because of the blood thinners. God is good and he should make a full recovery. I will let you know more as I know more.
