Gaudet Family Update – Container shipment, Co-worker health update

Dear Intercessors,

We want to bring you up to date on a couple of items for which we have asked intercession. Your involvement
in prayer is so very vital to the work at hand. Thank you!

In our last e-mail update, we asked prayer for a co-worker who had to undergo a procedure to break up a stone which was totally blocking one kidney. It literally was an emergency procedure due to the severity, and he had already awaited treatment due to lack of funds. The procedure worked but might have to be repeated in days to come. There is infection, but it seems to be under control. Please continue to intercede for him. He is recovering now. Thank the Lord; funds have come in already to pay approximately 1/3 of the cost so far! We are blessed indeed.

Also, a 40′ container left WV yesterday. This is the third container of literature in Burmese provided by partners of First Bible and others. Plans are diligently underway now for the arrival of that container in late August. We are especially excited about this one as part of the shipment is 10,000 whole Bibles in Burmese, a first printing from the re-typeset Judson Bible that we completed last year! We are rejoicing over God’s provision for these dear brethren who made this happen. Please pray for the safe arrival of that container, customs clearance, and distribution. We have on-hand now approximately $6,500 of the approximately $10,000 it will take to strategically place these materials for distribution.

Your intercession is strategic as we continue to labor in this manner. Someone once said to me that when they read our Updates they always come away with the feeling that we are just barely treading water, one breath from disaster. I am glad that was not missed! We do not come to you from a feeling of superior strength. We come to you telling you like it is, unworthy servants, with all the frailties of body and mind, asking you to stand with us in intercession. We are living proof that God does not need independently healthy, wealthy and wise people. He just needs those who will trust Him. He loves to show Himself strong.

For Souls Still Waiting,
Tom and Krinny Gaudet
