Greetings Brethren,

Some of you have heard via our coworkers that I spent the night in the hospital. I wanted to drop you a line and say that I am home now and resting. I experienced irregular heartbeats on Sunday morning and when we went into the hospital to have it checked, they admitted me. Monitoring the vitals and medicine via IV overnight corrected the problem. I returned home around 3pm on Monday.

I have an underlying history of heart problems but daily medication has controlled it. However, in the course testing while I was hospitalized, it was found that I have an over-active thyroid. Elevated levels of the thyroid hormone triggered this occurrence. I am very glad to find that out and begin treatment for it because it explains some other significant health issues I have been experiencing for the past several months.

We just want to say “Thank you” for praying for us. Health issues can affect anyone but we also are aware of the spiritual element of dealing as we do with peoples and languages where the Gospel has been bound for ages. Your intercession is essential. Please continue to pray for health of all of our coworkers.

Many of you have also been praying for our sponsoring Church while she sought the will of God for a pastor. Next Sunday, Jim Turner and his wife Marsha will be installed by the Church as pastor. We are grateful for God’s leading us to the man He has prepared for us. Thank you for praying! We are interceding for Victory Baptist Church, Wichita Falls, TX as they look to the Lord for a pastor.
