Gaudet Family Update – Flood Update

Dear Intercessors,

Thank you for your continued prayer for protection during the floods. We were completely spared from any flooding in our neighborhood. It was much worse here a couple of months ago when our co-workers faced the same thing with us out of the country. This time we only faced anxiety, but much of the central part of the city was hit hard. All of those floodwaters have now receded.

What that means however is that now all that water is on its way down south. Several other cities have been and are due to be flooded. The floodwaters will reach Bangkok within the next day or so. Rains continue, the ground is soaked, and every reservoir in the country is full to overflowing. Water must be released from them and now the region is faced with a typhoon. Over 200 have died in landslides and floodwater as a result of this latest flooding throughout Thailand. Please continue to pray for folks in these other areas. It is much the same in regional countries. Several missionary families we know here are dealing with it now.

Thank you again for your intercession. I am not sure what we would have done with a large number of computers and office equipment if the water had overtaken us.

For Souls Still Waiting,
Tom and Krinny Gaudet
