Greetings from Thailand!

We had one full week in the office after getting moved and set up. Then all last week it was shut down due to the largest holiday in the Thai year! Also since we have arrived in Chiang Mai last month, we have had visitors from the USA. A couple from Texas on a survey trip to Thailand spent three days here with us. Then, last week during the holiday, Pastor Robert Sargent from Oak Harbor, WA was here.

Both were a great encouragement to us. I think they left here with a vision and will be able to pray more specifically for ministry in the region. It was a blessing to be able to show them some of the things that the Lord is doing here

On this coming Monday we should have an additional co-worker. This translator will be able to help us begin preparing needed materials in the S’gaw Karen language! Many of the refugees from Burma who are now going to the USA speak this language. Sound doctrinal materials will be usable in Burma, Thailand, the USA and many other countries where these refugees are moving.

Please pray for the on-going work in many other languages. We are playing catch up as we are still training some new staff since moving to Chiang Mai.

Please pray for our health, effectiveness in ministry, boldness, and interaction with each other. At least 3 languages are spoken each day in our midst. Additional co-workers broaden that.

Pray for the brethren in printing ministries in the USA who have committed to print many 10’s of thousands of copies of the Word of God for this region. May He be glorified through it.
