Brethren,

Thank you so much for your intercession. Your co-laboring with us in this manner is essential to the work here. Please do not stop.

Also, we wanted to let you know about upcoming travel for Tom and Krinny. We are returning to the USA, 24March-7July. We need to spend some time with our grandkids who are in the USA until July, as well as spend some time at our sponsoring Church with the brethren there and our new Pastor! It will be a time of rejoicing with our Church, and strategy planning for the future work on the field. We take very seriously that we are missionaries sponsored by our home Church. What we do here is a ministry of Metropolitan Baptist Church.

It has now been one year since we moved to the northern Thailand city of Chiang Mai. We now know more about the opportunities present in the region and capacity that we have to handle them from this strategic location. The time in the USA will be valuable as we try to communicate these things.

The time in the USA was extended somewhat as the tickets were hard to find! All seats were already booked for the time we had planned. Seems that the global financial crisis has not affected air travel much!
While we are home, we will have several open dates in which meetings can be arranged with Churches to report or present our work. If you are interested, just let us know. We are leaving the schedule up to the Lord. He has worked it out so far!

Please pray as we work now to prepare ourselves. By that I mean that we have quite a bit of preparation to make sure our absence here will not hinder the work of our faithful coworkers. Two of our American coworkers will be leaving by the time we do, leaving an extra burden on those who remain. Work goes on with us or without us here. Please pray for these coworkers from Thailand, Burma, Pakistan, USA, and one soon to arrive from Laos! Another young lady from WA State will arrive while we are away also.

For Souls Still Waiting,

Tom and Krinny Gaudet
