Dear Intercessors,

Tina is doing well after the emergency appendectomy. The surgeon told them that they caught it just in time as it was near rupturing. I am quite sure that doubling on the back of their motorcycle to the emergency room was not a pleasant experience for her.

We visited Tina in the hospital today and she was resting well after a difficult night. When she and Asim learned that many of you were praying, they expressed gratitude. Here is a note they just sent us “Please say our thanks to all who are praying for Tina and all who stood beside us at this time. It is really encouraging and making our faith more strong.Thank you so much once again”

It is possible that she will be released from the hospital tomorrow. Please do not stop praying for her recovery.

Please pray also about the finances for this surgery. When they found out that surgery was necessary, the first question that came to mind for them was the cost. Here, one is not released from the hospital until the bill is paid. We are pulling together every account we have to make sure that the bill is paid upon her release. The hospital estimated the bill would be around $2,350. We will know more when she is released. Asim asked if there was a way he could borrow money to pay for it but I know how much he makes monthly. It would take more than one year to repay it. Our Lord has a plan.

Again, we appreciate your intercession for her. There is much at stake as we labor together with these dear folks.
